Entwicklungen und Perspektiven in den Gesundheitsberufen - aktuelle Handlungs- und Forschungsfelder

Abstract

In dem Sammelband wird der Stand der Berufsbildungsforschung im Bereich der Gesundheitsberufe dokumentiert. Trotz ihrer zunehmenden gesellschaftlichen Relevanz durch demografischen und sozialen Wandel wurden sie bisher in der Diskussion zur Berufsbildung vernachlässigt. Der Austausch von Wissenschaft und Bildungspraxis ist jedoch die Basis für eine strukturierte und perspektivische Weiterentwicklung der Gesundheitsberufe. Die Autorinnen und Autoren beschreiben exemplarisch Themen und Ansätze als Anstoß für weitere Forschung: Fachkräftebedarf und -gewinnung, Akademisierung, Kompetenz und Kompetenzerhebung, Qualifizierung des Lehrpersonals.

Health care professions are becoming increasingly important in light of demographic and social change, advances in medical technology and the related changes to the requirements, possibilities and structures of provision. This is also reflected in both academic and political discourse related to vocational education and training. The high demands placed on the health care professions, both professionally and by society, result in similarly demanding challenges in terms of the organisation of education, training and employment systems in the healthcare sector. The AG BFN forum "Developments and perspectives in the healthcare professions - current areas of activity and research", which took place at the Westphalian Wilhelms University in Münster on 15 and 16 October 2015, considered the theoretical and systematic discourse as well as empirical studies in these areas. Subject areas addressed and discussed reflected vocational education and training research and covered the demand for skilled workers and how to attract them, the academisation of health care professions, measurement and recording of competency, as well as education and training personnel in the healthcare professions. This collection of articles is a record of contributions from this forum.
