Jóvenes Colombianos que experimentaron sentimientos de ausencias físicas y psicológicas de los padres

Abstract

The objective of this research was to investigate the referential function of adults other than parents in the development process of young adults, of both sexes, between 23 and 35 years old, from the cities of Medellin, Cali, Cartagena, Ibagué, and Planadas.It is developed from a qualitative perspective privileging the case study method. We found diverse resources of coping and hope woven by the young people that underpin the decision to choose a family, to establish and to agitate bonds of protection, support, refuge, and vitality. Likewise, the feelings of absences registered by young people at a young age, although they may indicate an issue, are also the opening to find solutions in other protective factors. Finally, the young people summon other ways of going through their moment of life, question the classic postulates of family configuration and open other epistemological and ontological categories to think about the place of significant experiences to perceive in subjective terms in contexts other than the family.

El objetivo de esta investigación fue indagar por la referencialidad de adultos distintos a los padres en el proceso de desarrollo de adultos jóvenes, de ambos sexos, entre 23 y 35 años, de las ciudades de Medellín, Cali, Cartagena, Ibagué y Planadas. Se desarrolla desde una perspectiva cualitativa privilegiando el método de estudio de caso. Se encontró diversos recursos de afrontamiento y esperanza tejidos por los jóvenes que apuntalan con la decisión de elegir familia, establecer y agenciar vínculos de protección, sostén, refugio, y vitalidad. Asimismo, los sentimientos de ausencias registradas por los jóvenes en su temprana edad si bien pueden indicar una cuestión problémica también son la apertura para encontrar salidas en otros factores protectores. Finalmente, los jóvenes convocan otras maneras de transitar su momento de vida, interpelan los postulados clásicos de configuración familiar y abren otras categorías epistemológicas y ontológicas para pensar el lugar de las experiencias significativas para subjetivar en contextos distintos al familiar.
