Abstract

The recurrent armed conflict in Colombia has its roots in the use, enjoyment, arrangement, tenure, and control of land. Although the regulatory framework has sought to regulate the issue, in practice, several of these rules have not contributed to overcoming inequality gaps. Only since the Peace Agreementsigned in 2016 between the FARC-EP and the Colombian State, has this axis been incorporated as a mechanism for peace and reconciliation. However, the political will to properly address this issue remains a challenge.

El recurrente conflicto armado colombiano tiene sus raíces en el uso, goce, disposición, tenencia y control de la tierra. Si bien desde lo normativo se ha buscado regular el asunto, en la práctica varias de estas normas no han contribuido con la superación de las brechas de inequidad. Solo a partir del Acuerdo de Paz firmado en 2016 entre las Farc-EP y el Estado colombiano, este eje se incorpora como un mecanismo para la paz y la reconciliación. Sin embargo, la voluntad política para tramitar debidamente este tema, sigue siendo un reto.
