Hence, situations, such as the current national anthem of Colombia only raises some questions like the following: When will the horrible night for the black and afro communities cease? When will these communities be included? Is the solution the inclusion of the black and afro communities in the politicaldecision spaces? When will the voice of the black and afro communities stop being silenced and be given the relevance that historically has been taken away from them? De ahí que situaciones como las del actual himno de Colombia lo único que generan es preguntas como: ¿cuándo cesará la horrible noche para las comunidades negras y afros?,¿cuándo el país va a incluir a las comunidades?, ¿Es la solución la presencia de las comunidades negras y afros en los espacios de decisión política?, ¿cuándo la voz de las comunidades negras y afros dejará de ser silenciada y se le entregará la relevancia que históricamente se les ha quitado?, ¿cuándo se le permitirá a lascomunidades negras y afros tener sus propias representaciones?.... view less
