Review Essay: Gesellschaft als dialektischer Prozess – Victor Turner zwischen Ndembu und Bob Dylan

Abstract

In Das Ritual. Struktur und Anti-Struktur untersucht der 1983 verstorbene Anthropologe Victor Witter TURNER Rituale der Ndembu im heutigen Sambia. Dabei entwickelt er das inzwischen berühmt gewordene Konzept der Communitas, die er als absolute menschliche Beziehung ansieht, die keiner geordneten Struktur mehr bedarf. Die Analyse dieser sozialen Anti-Struktur ist dabei gleichermaßen spannend wie interessant.
