Chinese perspective on challenges for the interstate cooperation in Eurasia: together - into the future

Abstract

As a major and one of the most successful mechanisms of maintaining security and stability within the region, the SCO has played an irreplaceable role towards development of cooperation in regional governance, concept-based operational capacity and multilateral interaction. In the second decade of the SCO's development, correlation between concepts of security issues and both existing mechanisms and emerging economic initiatives will be the key step to deepening interactions among member states and self-evolution of the SCO.
