dc.description.abstractThe book presents five research studies with emphasis on the countries that make up the ILAIPP network, three literature reviews and two comparative studies on substantive aspects of education with a high impact on the current debate, such as rural secondary education, university reform, the extended school day, school violence prevention, and the relationship between democratic attitudes and education. It also contains two chapters by Canadian researchers on the notion of innovation and quality in education, and the prospects, strategies and challenges of bringing innovations to large-scale educational programs.de
