Abstract

Dieser Text ist rein literarisch und fiktiv. Alle Angaben sind subjektiv, emotional und frei erfunden. Sie sind das kreative Nebenprodukt einer retrospektiven, erinnerungsverzerrten, ganz und gar nicht wissenschaftlichen Beschäftigung mit dem Prozess des Schreibens einer Doktorarbeit. Die Darstellung erlaubt daher keine Rückschlüsse auf tatsächlich lebende oder schon verstorbene Personen oder darauf, wie es wirklich war. Erzählt wird die Geschichte der Psychologin Laura Wolf, die zur Verarbeitung sexualisierter Gewalt in der Kindheit promovieren möchte. Dabei stößt sie auf ein Konglomerat von universitätsinternen Konflikten, undurchdringlichen Machtstrukturen, bürokratischen Hindernissen und persönlichen Eitelkeiten, die durch die Reaktionen, die das Promotionsthema selbst auslöst, noch verstärkt werden.

This is the story of the psychologist Laura Wolf, who tries to obtain her doctorate studying the recovery processes of victims of sexual violence during childhood. Laura is confronted with a variety of conflicts within the university, rigid power structures, which cannot be overcome, bureaucratic obstacles, and personal vanity. These barriers are amplified by individual reactions to her thesis topic.
