Jacques Rancière's political thought promises a theoretical revolt against the neoliberal administration of universal Sachzwang. The paper discusses his version of a radical theory of democracy from the perspective of dialectical theory and critique of society following Adorno and examines his thinking in relation to the enemies of dialectical thinking: ontology and positivism.
