Más allá del discurso: Análisis genealógico de un proceso de transformación intersubjetiva de género

Abstract

Dieser Artikel führt in eine genealogische Untersuchung der Transformation von Geschlecht ein. Er untersucht die Transformationen einer Gruppe von Arbeiterinnen, die sich an der Organisation von Centros de Promoción de la Mujer y Cultura Popular [Zentren zur Förderung von Frauen und von Volkskultur] beteiligten, im Kontext der letzten Etappe der Franko-Diktatur und im gesellschaftlichen Wandel zur Demokratie. Zum Verstehen des Transformationsprozesses wurden Tiefeninterviews mit diesen Frauen durchgeführt. Ausgehend von deren Erzählungen und der Auswertung von Archivmaterialien der Zentren wird die Verschiebung von einem Stadium der "Benennung" (im Sinne FOUCAULTs) hin zu einer Situation der "Flexibilität und Beweglichkeit" in den Praktiken der Protagonistinnen untersucht, wobei auch die organisatorischen Veränderungen berücksichtigt werden. Die Analyse wird auf der Grundlage eines FOUCAULTschen Instrumentariums vollzogen, indem ein eher freierer Zugang zur Analytik der Macht, zur Konstruktion einer Theorie der Praxis und zur Untersuchung der Beziehungen zwischen den Praktiken und den "Spielen" der Wahrheit gewählt wird. Dies ermöglicht es, die an den Transformierungsprozessen beteiligten intersubjektiven Prozesse und Praktiken zu rekonstruieren.

This article presents a genealogical analysis of a specific process of transformation of gender. It analyses the shifts of a group of Spanish working-class women in the context of the final years of Franco's dictatorship and the transition to democracy. These women took part in the activities of the so-called Centros de Promoción de la Mujer y Cultura Popular [Centres for Women's Promotion and Popular Culture]. I identify the elements of the transformation processes through in-depth interviews with a sample of women. Through these narrations and the documents of the Centres I show the road that goes from a state of domination (in FOUCAULT's words) to a more flexible and mobile situation in which not only are the practical possibilities for these women wider, but also we can witness the transformation of the institution itself. The analysis is made with a FOUCAULTian toolbox, using especially FOUCAULT's analysis of power, his theoretical construction of practices of self and the link he posits between such practices and identity games of truth. The analysis shows the intersubjective nature of the processes and of the practices involved in such transformations.

El artículo expone un análisis genealógico de un proceso específico de transformación de género. Analiza las transformaciones de un grupo de mujeres de clase obrera en el contexto del final de la dictadura franquista y la transición a la democracia. Estas mujeres participaron en una institución denominada "Centros de Promoción de la Mujer y Cultura Popular". Identificamos los elementos de los procesos de transformación mediante entrevistas en profundidad de un grupo de aquellas mujeres. A través de estas narraciones y del análisis del archivo de la institución mostramos el desplazamiento desde un estado de dominación (en términos de FOUCAULT) hasta una situación más flexible y móvil en la cual las posibilidades prácticas de las protagonistas se ampliaron, simultáneamente a una transformación de la institución misma. El análisis se lleva a cabo con herramientas FOUCAULTianas, utilizando de forma libre su analítica del poder, su construcción teórica de las prácticas de sí y explorando el vínculo entre las prácticas y los juegos de verdad. El análisis muestra la naturaleza intersubjetiva del proceso y de las prácticas implicadas en las transformaciones.
