Der Blick über den Tellerrand - Chancen, Herausforderungen und Zielgrößen guter Lehre in der Gesundheitskommunikation

Abstract

Der vorliegende Beitrag führt in die akademische Lehre in der noch jungen und sich zunehmend etablierenden Disziplin der Gesundheitskommunikation ein. Dabei werden zentrale Herausforderungen und Chancen im Lehrkontext adressiert - auf struktureller Ebene (Lehrsettings) sowie hinsichtlich der zu vermittelnden Theorien und Methoden - um die zentrale Frage zu beantworten: Wie müsste gute Lehre in der Gesundheitskommunikation gestaltet sein? Als Maßnahmen werden u. a. die Erarbeitung einer einheitlichen modularen curricularen Struktur, die Einrichtung eines Lehr-Repositoriums sowie die inter- und transdisziplinäre Vernetzung vorgeschlagen, die in einer neugegründeten AG 'Lehre' der DGPuK-Fachgruppe Gesundheitskommunikation umgesetzt werden sollen.

This chapter introduces academic teaching in the still young and increasingly established discipline of health communication. Central challenges and opportunities in the teaching context are addressed - both at the structural level (teaching settings) as well as regarding the theories and methods to be taught - in order to answer the central question: How should good teaching in health communication be designed? Proposed measures include the development of a uniform modular curricular structure, the establishment of a teaching repository, as well as inter- and transdisciplinary networking, which are to be implemented in the newly founded working group 'Teaching' of the Health Communication Division in the German Communication Association.
