While social media have provided a space for increased support, advocacy, and visibility, they have also been used as a tool for harassment and discrimination. Social media companies need to ensure the safety and well-being of their users, particularly those from marginalized communities. This review article discussed how Social media platforms have allowed for greater visibility and representation of the LGBTQA+ community.
