%X This contribution gives an overview of the current state of the pension system in Azerbaijan, examining the regulation of the retirement age and disability pensions as well as the generosity of pension benefits. Major indicators are compared to those of other countries in the post-Soviet region. The contribution continues to assess reform needs and reform plans. The contribution concludes with brief recommendations for pension reform.
