This policy brief highlights DEval’s methodological approach to the analysis of high-resolution RS data through the application of image classification and machinelearning (ML) techniques. DEval has been developing this approach in close cooperation with RS experts from the Faculty of Geo-information Science and Earth Observation (ITC) at the University of Twente in the Netherlands. %C DEU %C Bonn %G en %9 Arbeitspapier %W GESIS - http://www.gesis.org %~ SSOAR - http://www.ssoar.info
