Alt und wohnungslos im westlichen Bundesgebiet - Teil 1: Eine Untersuchung über Lebenslagen älterer wohnungsloser Frauen in betreuten Wohnformen

Abstract

Diese Studie untersucht in den Kategorien Bildung, Arbeit, Einkommen, Wohnen, Gesundheit, Straffälligkeit, soziale Situation und Hilfesituation das hohe Ausmaß der benachteiligenden objektiven Lebensbedingungen älterer wohnungsloser Frauen in betreuten Wohnformen. Dabei zeigt sich, dass bei 85 % aller Befragten Beeinträchtigungen der gesellschaftlichen Teilhabe bereits in der Kindheit oder Jugend beginnen und sich über die Lebensspanne hinweg anhäufen. Im Gegensatz dazu stehen die subjektiven Lebensbedingungen. So äußern sich die meisten Studienteilnehmerinnen zufrieden über ihre Wohnsituation und sprechen dem Bereich Arbeit/Beschäftigung sowie wohn-, selbstversorgungs- und gesundheitsbezogenen Hilfen eine große Bedeutung zu; immerhin die Hälfte artikuliert sich zufrieden mit dem Lebensstandard und räumt arbeits- bzw. beschäftigungsorientierten Angeboten eine große Bedeutung ein.

This study collects the high dimensions of objective adverse living conditions of elderly homeless women in care forms of housing in the categories education, work, income, housing, health, conviction, social situation and help circumstances. As a result, 85 % of all the people surveyed show, that the restrictions of social participation already begin in childhood and youth and accumulate for the span of lifetime. The subjective living conditions conflict sharply with that. So most study participants comment to be satisfied with their housing conditions and attach a high importance to the field activity/work as well as home-, self-sufficient- and health-related aids; nevertheless the half of all study participants articulate to be satisfied with the standard of living and attach a high importance to activity- or work-oriented offers of help.
