Fallstudien zur Kooperation an Ganztagsschulen: Die Schulmensa als bedeutender Nebenschauplatz der multiprofessionellen Kooperation?

Abstract

Im Ganztagsschuldiskurs gelten fest in den Tag verankerte Kooperationszeiten und -orte als wichtige Stellschrauben für die Entwicklung der multiprofessionellen Kooperation. Mit der Implementierung dieser Schnittstellen geht die Hoffnung auf eine strukturell abgesicherte Form der Kooperation und einen verbesserten Dialog über Schülerinnen und Schüler einher. Im vorliegenden Beitrag wird die Annahme vertreten, dass durch das Fokussieren dieser ‚festen‘ Zeiten und Orte der Gelegenheitscharakter der Kooperation und damit der Blick auf bedeutsame Nebenschauplätze bisher nur randständig betrachtet wird. Am Beispiel der Schulmensa wird in zwei explorativen Fallstudien aufgezeigt, dass diese als fluide Schnittstelle im Alltag genutzt wird und ihr vor dem Hintergrund struktureller Herausforderungen der Kooperation eine kompensatorische Funktion zukommt. Zudem wird herausgearbeitet, dass mit dem Hinzufügen von Kooperationsanlässen zugleich die Gefahr einer Überfrachtung des Settings einhergeht.

Fixed times and spaces are regarded as an essential aspect for the development of multi-professional collaboration in German all-day schools. The implementation of these interfaces is accompanied by the hope for a structured form of collaboration and an improved dialogue about students. In this paper, we assume that by focusing on these ‘fixed’ times and places, the occasional character of collaboration and thus the view on significant sideshows is neglected. Using the example of the school canteen, two exploratory case studies show that the school canteen can be used as a fluid interface in the daily routines and takes on a compensatory function in the context of structural challenges. At the same time, it is shown that the addition of occasions for collaboration is accompanied by the risk of overloading the setting.
