Ausgehend von der Kritik am Methodologischen Nationalismus sowie postkolonialen und transnationalen Perspektiven wird eine Heuristik transnationaler Bildungswelten entwickelt, deren Potenzial für die Analyse sozialer Ungleichheit anhand eines empirischen Beispiels aus einer deutschen Sekundarschule entfaltet wird. Auf Basis der Befunde werden abschließend Möglichkeiten und Grenzen dieses Vorgehens reflektiert. %X The contribution focuses on transnational phenomena in schools and asks for theoretical and methodological questions when analysing the (re-)production of social inequality. Based on the critique of methodological nationalism and postcolonial and transnational perspectives, a heuristic of transnational educational worlds is developed, whose potential for the analysis of social inequality is unfolded using an empirical example from a German secondary school.
