dc.description.abstractO presente trabalho aborda como as novas tecnologias de informação e comunicação podem promover a autonomia de aprendizes de língua inglesa. Nesse sentindo, o papel desempenhado por alunos e professores adquire um novo significado. Expressões como "aprendizagem colaborativa" e "construção de conhecimento" são empregadas de modo a esclarecer ao leitor a importância de recursos da Web que privilegiem a visão dialógica. Desse modo, alunos tornam-se protagonistas na construção do conhecimento. O estudo finaliza atentando para a formação do sujeito social e a potencialização de suas múltiplas inteligências através do contexto digital.pt
dc.description.abstractThe present study addresses how the new technologies of information and communication can promote the autonomy of learners of English. In this perspective, the role played by students and teachers carries a new meaning. Expressions like "collaborative learning" and "construction of knowledge" are employed in order to raise the reader’s awareness of the importance of online resources which favour the dialogue. Thus, students become agents in the construction of knowledge. The study finishes with the focus on the formation of the social being and the empowerment of their multiple intelligences made possible by the digital environment.en
