El 9 de noviembre de 1989 el mundo asistía, sorprendido, a la transformación de los contornos de la realidad. La caída del Muro de Berlín fue un acontecimiento que se tornó el símbolo del fin de la Guerra Fría, del orden internacional vigente, de los sentidos comunes de la población mundial y, por tanto, del siglo xx corto, como lo pensaría Eric Hobsbawm. geo-political configuration. The fall of the Berlin Wall became the symbol of the end of the Cold War, the current world order, of the common senses and worldviews of the world population and, therefore, of the short 20th century, in Eric Hobsbawm's words. Pondering the fall of the Wall 30 years later is an urgent task. Similar to the analysis the authors carried on of the year 1968 and its movements around the world, this text once again answers the call of history and memory to rethink a particular moment, that iconic collapse, from a transnational perspective that sheds light on past processes and on our
