Initiativen, die dem Teilen, Leihen, Tauschen, Schenken und Reparieren eine Basis und ein Netz werk bieten, haben nachhaltigem Handeln eine Nische im Alltag verschiedener Menschen ver schafft. Durch ihr selbstinitiiertes Handeln verändert sich, ohne einen offiziellen Auftrag, somit einiges im urbanen Raum: Menschen schließen sich mit spezifischen Vorhaben zusammen und überwinden dabei (ihre) konventionelle(n) Grenzen des alltäglichen Lebens. Dennoch wissen wir bislang wenig darüber, welche Utopien die hier Aktiven von zukünftigem (Zusammen-)Leben und Lernen haben. In der Expertise und der in diesem Rahmen durchgeführten empirischen Stu die wurde diese Leerstelle aufgenommen und in einem partizipativen Forschungsansatz in fünf Utopiewerkstätten wurden mithilfe von Collagearbeiten die Utopien von Essener Aktiven aus Gemeinschaftsgärten, Repaircafés und dem Tauschkreis anhand der Fragestellung Wie möchte ich leben und lernen? analysiert. Die herausgearbeiteten vielfältigen Ideen für das eigene Leben bieten Impulse für gesellschaftliche Transformation und eine Stärkung gesellschaftlichen Zusam menhalts. Initiatives that provide a basis and network for sharing, lending, exchanging, giving and repairing have created a niche for sustainable action in the everyday lives of many different people. Through their self-initiated action, without an official mandate, things change within urban space: People unite with specific projects and thereby overcome (their) conventional limits of everyday life. Nevertheless, so far we know very little about the utopias of future living (to gether) and learning that the active people here have in their minds. Within the expertise and the empirical study carried out in this context, this empty space was taken up utilizing a partici patory research approach in five utopia workshops: The utopias of Essen-based activists from community gardens, repair cafés and the exchange group were analysed with the help of collage works centered around the question of "How would I like to live and learn?" The diverse ideas developed for one's own life offer impulses for social transformation and a strengthening of social cohesion.
