In total, 49 employees in industrial production, 13 works council members, 13 managers in contexts of the implementation of Industry 4.0 components in 11 companies from three industries, and 20 external experts were interviewed. Based on this sample, typical dispositions of employees involved in implementation processes of Industry 4.0 are identified. Moreover, the empirical access via single cases of the implementation of Industry 4.0 solutions allows for tentative diagnoses also on the general development of Industry 4.0 in the respective industries.... view less
