Eine Skizze zur Automatisierung qualitativer Inhaltsanalyse

Abstract

It is foreseeable that (semi-) automation of qualitative content analysis will soon take place; in fact it is already partially feasible. Based on a qualitative content analysis that I performed, I give an overview of what a semi-automated qualitative content analysis might look like, comprising the additional steps of data collection and transcription. This concept is a semi-automated one since it depends on continuous human-machine interaction. I point out automation approaches that are already in use and seem suitable for advancing the (semi-)automation of qualitative content analysis.

Die (Teil-) Automatisierung qualitativer Inhaltsanalyse ist absehbar und technisch bereits in Teilen möglich. Ich skizziere anhand einer von mir durchgeführten qualitativen Inhaltsanalyse eine fiktive Automatisierungslösung, die auch die Datenerhebung und Transkription umfasst. Es handelt sich hierbei um eine Teilautomatisierung, da sie die kontinuierliche Zusammenarbeit von Mensch und Maschine voraussetzt. Wo bereits existent, zeige ich Automatisierungsansätze auf, die sich für die Integration in eine (teil-) automatisierte qualitative Inhaltsanalyse eignen.
