Abstract

Der abschließende Teil dieses Sammelbandes fasst die in den Teilen A bis D detailliert beschriebenen Erfahrungen und Erkenntnisse aus der Anwendungspraxis sowie die Überlegungen zur Weiterentwicklung des ROV in grundlegenden Empfehlungen zusammen und trifft hierbei insbesondere Aussagen zum Mehrwert des Raumordnungsverfahrens in der Planungspraxis, zur Öffentlichkeitsbeteiligung und zu Ansätzen zur Beschleunigung von Planungsprozessen über das Raumordnungsverfahren hinaus. Darüber hinaus werden Optionen zur Entwicklung der Rechtsgrundlagen benannt sowie offene Forschungsfragen angesprochen.

The concluding part of this edited volume summarises the experiences and findings from practice described in detail in Parts A to D and brings together considerations concerning the further development of the spatial planning procedure, drawing up fundamental recommendations. Particular attention is drawn to the added value created by the spatial planning procedure in planning practice, to public participation, and to approaches for accelerating planning processes beyond the spatial planning procedure. Options for developing the legal foundations and further fields of research are also presented.
