Aus kindheits- und praxistheoretischer Perspektive befasst sich der Beitrag mit der Prozessierung von Übergangsentscheidungen zur Sekundarstufe I. Ausgehend von einem ethnografischen Forschungsprojekt werden zunächst Befunde dazu präsentiert, wie im Gespräch des Elternsprechtags einer Grundschule und in der Zeugnisübergabe im ersten Halbjahr der vierten Klasse individualisierende und responsibilisierende Adressierungs- und Positionierungspraktiken vollzogen werden. Anschließend wird anhand eines ethnografischen Interviews dargelegt, wie diese Praktiken narrativ vom Kind bearbeitet werden. Abschließend werden die Befunde dahingehend diskutiert, inwiefern sie auf die gegenwärtige Konstitution von Bildungskindheit verweisen und welche Implikationen dies für die Reproduktion von Ungleichheiten haben kann.... view less

From a childhood- and practice-theoretical perspective, the paper is concerned with the process of decision-making in the transition from primary to secondary school. The presented findings are based on an ethnographic research project and give an insight into the following question: how are practices of individualising and responsibilising positioning done during a parent-teacher-interview at primary school and the delivery of the school report. In the following, it will be shown how those practices become part of the talking of a child. Finally, the findings are discussed in the light of their relevance for the constitution of Bildungschildhood - educational childhood - and the reproduction of inequality.... view less
