Dieser Artikel widmet sich dem Thema der sozialisatorischen Reproduktion sozialer Ungleichheit in der Verknüpfung empirischer Hypothesen mit methodologischen Überlegungen. Im ersten Teil des Aufsatzes versuche ich an kurzen Interaktionssequenzen zu zeigen und theoretisch zu begründen, dass die Eigenlogik der familialen und der schulischen Interaktion eine restriktive Bedingung für die Reproduktion sozialer Ungleichheit darstellt. Diese Beobachtung hat methodologische Implikationen: Im zweiten Teil möchte ich darauf hinweisen, dass ein empirischer Zugriff auf das Phänomen der sozialen Ungleichheit eine Domäne der tatsachenwissenschaftlichen Forschung darstellt. Er gestaltet sich weit schwieriger für eine sinnverstehende Forschung, die als empirisches Datum ihrer Forschung Ausdrucksgestalten zu Grunde legt.... view less

This paper focuses on the problem of social inequality, linking empirical with methodological considerations. First I will try to show that the inner logic of family and school interaction works against the reproduction of social inequality. In a second part I would like to point out the methodological implications of this hypothesis. I argue that the empirical access to the phenomenon of social inequality lies in the domain of an evidence based, "factual" research, whereas an interpretative, interaction based research doesn't lead to such clear results on social inequality.... view less
