En este trabajo se analiza la reconstrucción de Hannah Arendt sobre los movimientos revolucionarios. Éstos son vistos como encarnación de los mejores atributos de la política. Implican el poder de actuar en concierto, reasignan el papel de la pluralidad y el poder de la acción conjunta. Son el reconocimiento de la política como dimensión expresiva, ruptura y nuevo inicio. La revolución es, pues, el momento privilegiado de la política pero, a la vez, es el que deja traslucir su condición frágil, emergente y plena de contingencia ajena a todo atisbo de instrumentalidad. Las revoluciones son recuperadas a partir de su veta histórica. Arendt retoma dos modelos: el "exitoso", ejemplificado en la revolución americana, que conserva su carácter político y el "fallido", representado por la revolución francesa, la cual sucumbe a la compasión, por su apego a la solución de necesidades y su olvido de lo político.... weniger

This work analyses Hannah Arendt’s reconstruction regarding revolutionary movements.
These are seen as the incarnation of the best attributes of politics. They imply the power to act together and they reassign the role of plurality. They are the recognition of politics as an expressive dimension, interruption of the history course and a new beginning. The revolution is the privileged moment of politics, but at the same time, it is the demonstration of its fragile, emergent and contingent condition. Revolutions are recovered through history. Arendt has two models of revolution. The first one is the "successful" model (the American Revolution) and the other one is the "failed" model (the French Revolution). The American Revolution is successful because it preserved its political character, whereas the French Revolution succumbed to the "passion of compassion" due to the oblivion of politics and its attachment to find solutions to their needs.... weniger
