La identidad cultural latinoamericana en José Martí y Luís Villoro: estado plural, autonomía y liberación en un mundo globalizado

Abstract

Hoy, en el mundo global del siglo xxi, el discurso del pensamiento único se ha caracterizado por realzar al empirismo y sustituir a la reflexión filosófica y política por un pensamiento pragmático, conservador y acrítico. La tarea de recuperar entonces el pensamiento crítico social latinoamericano es actualmente una cuestión impostergable de las ciencias sociales en América Latina. En este sentido, el presente artículo tiene por objeto mostrar la gran importancia y contribución al pensamiento crítico de dos de los más importantes y originales pensadores latinoamericanos: José Martí y Luis Villoro. Los significativos aportes del pensamiento de uno y otro se evidencian, justamente, por sus reflexiones sobre la identidad, la cultura, el Estado y la liberación en América Latina. Dichas reflexiones resultan de una importancia central y actual en la era de la globalización cultural de las identidades nacionales en el sistema mundial.

In today's global world of the xxist Century, the discourse of the one and only thought has been characterized by emphasizing empiricism and substituting philosophical and political reflection by a pragmatic thought, conservative and non critical. The task of recuperating the critical social Latin American thought is today a matter that does not admit delay for the social sciences in Latin America. In this sense, the present article has for its object to show the great importance and contribution to critical thought of two of the foremost and original Latin American thinkers: José Martí and Luis Villoro. The significant contributions of both of them are evident, rightly so, thru their reflections on the identity, culture, State and liberation in Latin America. Said reflections result in a central and present importance in the era of cultural globalization of national identities within the world order.
