Kulturreflexivität statt Interkulturalität?

Abstract

Angelehnt an Überlegungen der transformativen Erwachsenenbildung und der Wissenssoziologie werden an einem konkreten Beispiel drei methodologische Metakonzepte vorgeschlagen, mit denen man Alltagssituationen und vorhandene Theorien zur Interkulturalität mehrperspektivisch erschließen kann. Das Vorgehen wird kulturreflexiv genannt, weil Bedeutung, Konstruktion und Voraussetzungen (inter-)kultureller Überlegungen und Selbstzuschreibungen auf ihre jeweiligen Prämissen hin betrachtet werden können.

Inspired by the theories of transformative learning and the sociology of knowledge the article suggests to use three perspectives to reflect culture from a methodological side. The approach is called culture reflexive because meaning, construction and conditions of cross-cultural communication, competence or self ascription can be reflected by their premises. A practical example is illustrating the thoughts.
