Such a model accommodates the experiences of Eastern and Western Europe, more precisely the fights against various types of fascisms and against the expansion of Soviet-type of communism. This type of analysis integrates different, but interrelated manifestations of resistance: discourses, political actions, military activities and everyday cultural practices. My research on resistance is methodologically inspired by the new trend in historiography initiated by the history of emotions.}, keywords = {Widerstand; resistance; Opposition; opposition; Kommunismus; communism; Faschismus; fascism; Zweiter Weltkrieg; World War II; Osteuropa; Eastern Europe; Westeuropa; Western Europe; Emotionalität; emotionality; Widerstandsbewegung; resistance movement; Motivation; motivation}}
