dc.description.miscE-Mail, 18.10.2021: I write you on behalf of the new editorial team of the journal Analele Universității din București. Științe Politice / Annals of the University of Bucharest. Political Science series (ISSN 1582-2486, https://anale.fspub.unibuc.ro/), which is indexed in GESIS/SSOAR since its first volume (1999). Last week, it came to our attention that an article published almost two decades ago in the journal is suspected of plagiarism. In accordance with the ethical standards of the journal, based on the documents provided by the authors of the retraction request, as well as on the evaluation of an external reviewer specialized in research ethics, and taking into account the answer provided on the matter by the author of the text under scrutiny, the editorial team decided to retract the respective article for reasons of plagiarism.
