In the group of emerging countries, Brazil is a figure apart: having no inclination to "big brother" to smaller neighbors and not part of the communist blockade traditionally opposed to the capitalist, Brazil would came out through successive presidential terms (2003-2010) Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, who led the country on a new path. This international outlook is confirmed by the fact that Brazil has been entrusted the organization of two major sporting events: the World Cup in 2014 and the Summer Olympic Games in 2016 in Rio de Janeiro.
