A hermenêutica platônica no Íon e no Protágoras

Abstract

A forma mais simples e imediata de definir em poucas palavras a hermêutica é chamá-la de "arte ou técnica da interpretação". Segundo Scheleimacher os gregos teriam sido os iniciadores dessa arte, quando buscavam interpretar os versos de seus poetas. Platão pode ser visto como um desses hermeneutas antigos das obras poéticas, ao lado dos sofistas que se proclamavam como os melhores intérpretes da arte de Homero. Neste artigo procuramos acompanhar um pouco dessa hermenêutica platônica apresentada por Sócrates nos diálogos Íon e Protágoras. As considerações da personagem Sócrates são importantes para entendermos a preocupação dos gregos em decifrar os enigmas da sua própria linguagem ao fazerem a exegese dos seus textos.

To define hermeutics of the simple manner, direct, brief, we can call it "art or technique of interpretation". According Scheleimacher the initiators of this practice were greeks, since they seeking to interpret the verse of his poets. Along with Sophists, Plato may be considered like one these antique hermeutical of poetic creation, that proclaimed themselves the best Homero's hermeuticals. In this article we intend to understand something of this Plato's hermeutics that Socrate dispute in the Ion and Protagora dialogues. The appreciations Socrate personage are very important to we understand in what manner the greeks were preoccupied to decode enigma of language them, making the exegesis the text own.
