Successive global conjunctures, characterized by episodes of economic crises, wars, and environmental disasters, are nothing more than expressions of an accelerated crisis of the capitalist world system, the civilization arising from its logics, and contradictions, and the destruction it produces on nature. In this perspective, the conjunctures, understood as exceptional moments provoked by concrete facts, must be understood in these times as part of periods, and even phases of the crisis, since they share lines of continuity, which are shaping trends and possible futures (not futures?).... view less

Sucesivas coyunturas globales, caracterizadas por episodios de crisis económica, guerras y desastres ambientales, no son más que expresiones de una crisis acelerada del sistema mundo capitalista, la civilización surgida de sus lógicas y contradicciones, y de la destrucción que produce sobre la naturaleza. En esa perspectiva, las coyunturas, entendidas como momentos excepcionales provocados por hechos concretos, deben comprenderse en estos tiempos como parte de períodos e incluso fases de la crisis, pues comparten líneas de continuidad que van formando tendencias y futuros (¿no futuros?) posibles.... view less
