This workbook aims at changing young people's perspective about their own family history and puts the diverse experiences and stories of students and their family members in the centre of focus. The exercises and texts collected here will motivate young people between 12 and 15 years old to research the history of migration in their family and their own real lives. In this way, new horizons are opened up as well as making visible previously invisible knowledge, hidden potential and competencies.
