To date, the links between company-internal learning and career opportunities within companies were largely disregarded. This is the starting point of this document, which queries the influence of informal learning on career paths within a company theoretically and empirically. The objective of the document is to contribute to the theoretical and practical discussion about informal learning within organisations and is aimed at professional and managerial staff in companies, as well as at lecturers and students of personnel development.... view less
