Mit Blick auf eine Vielzahl gesellschaftlicher Krisenphänomene treten an unterschiedlichen Orten "Legitimationsprobleme" auf. Die Frage, der die Arbeits- und Industriesoziologie verstärkt nachgehen sollte, wäre vor diesem Hintergrund, ob sich Legitimationsprobleme und -verluste auch in der Erwerbsarbeitssphäre feststellen lassen und ob die Arbeitenden auch dort "mehr Gerechtigkeit" und "gerechtere" Entscheidungsstrukturen einfordern. Das liefe auf eine erneute Intensivierung der Beschäftigung mit dem "Bewusstseinsthema" hinaus, allerdings mit neu ausgerichtetem Fokus: auf Gerechtigkeitsansprüche und Kritik an und in Erwerbsarbeit. Wie eine solche Forderung konzeptionell und methodisch eingelöst werden könnte, erprobt zurzeit ein SOFI/ISF-Forschungsprojekt, dessen Stoßrichtung skizziert wird.... view less

As consequence of a growing number of crisis phenomena in recent years, "legitimation problems" occur on different social sites and levels. Against this background, a question that should engage work and industrial sociology increasingly, is whether legitimation problems and losses of legitimacy can also be observed in the sphere of work and whether employees demand "more justice" and "just" decision-making structures as well. This suggests a renewed and intensified examination of the problematique of "consciousness" at work, but with a new focus on justice claims and critique in and on employment, work and labor relations. A new SOFI/ISF research project whose approach is outlined is currently testing how such an endeavor could conceptually and methodically be implemented.... view less
