The epistemological bases of the different types of extractivism, especially the mining one, are tracked from the invention of America as a space of looting and extension of Europe, on which the ultimate purpose of domination/conquest was to subordinate and to expropriate the subjectivity and the materiality of the peoples in Abya Yala.
