La autora examina, a partir de artículos de prensa, los usos dominantes en el discurso sobre los inmigrados en Francia del concepto otro extranjero desde los años setenta hasta la fecha. Se analiza primero el significado de las diferentes figuras emblemáticas que emanaron de este concepto (trabajadores inmigrantes, inmigrados, jóvenes de los suburbios, clandestinos e indocumentados); la problemática que plantea la desaparición relativa del concepto de "inmigrante" y, por último, se reflexiona sobre la relación entre este evento discursivo y el discurso sobre la exclusión.... view less
