Este artículo muestra que una nueva constelación de fuerzas empresariales y pro-empresariales está inmersa en un movimiento de alcance global que surgió en los ochenta para destacar el papel de los empresarios en la sociedad y disminuir el papel del Estado. Las corrientes de pensamiento más importantes (neoliberalismo, la doctrina Social Cristiana, libertarianismo) que inspira este movimiento en México han arraigado en las asociaciones, ONGs y partidos políticos empresariales o pro-empresariales. Todas estas instituciones despliegan una intensa interacción con sus contrapartes alrededor del mundo, y tienen por ello múltiples oportunidades y espacios de reflexión colectiva, la cual fomenta la convergencia cultural y política de las élites empresariales. En este número se abordan las corrientes de pensamiento presentes en el movimiento empresarial en México y en el siguiente número -en un artículo que continúa con el mismo tema- se examinarán las etapas del movimiento empresarial en México y la red de organizaciones empresariales y pro-empresariales que facilitan y promueven las muy diversas, especializadas y complejas tareas de dicho movimiento.... view less

This article shows that a new constellation of Mexican business forces is immersed in the global entrepreneurial movement that arose in the 1980s to highlight the role of entrepreneurs in society and diminish the role of the state. The most important entrepreneurial traditions of thought (Neoliberalism, the Social Christian doarine, libertarianism, etc.) are present in Mexico and have taken root in entrepreneurial business associations, ngos and parties. All of these institutions have an intense interaction with their counterparts around the world, offering multiple opportunities and spaces for collective reflexivity which further cultural and political convergence of entrepreneurial elites.... view less
