El presente artículo reporta hallazgos significativos del trabajo de campo realizado en la investigación titulada "Canal Diez: de televisión gubernamental a televisión pública". Se presenta aquí la evidencia empírica de la conversación con televidentes chiapanecos en donde los resultados indican que los participantes perciben a este canal como instrumento difusionista que margina la presencia y expresión del público local, promociona estereotipos externos y excluye las posibilidades de diálogo y lo califican como progubernamental en lo político y centralista en el aspecto territorial.... view less

This article reports significant findings of the field investigation made in the research "Chiapas Channel 10: from governmental to public television". The author presents here the empirical evidence of the conversation with viewers within the state of Chiapas where the results indicate that the society perceives this channel being used to instrument that segregates the presence and expressions of the locals, however it promotes external stereotypes and excludes the possibilities from intercultural dialogue.
