Das postsowjetische Russland wird vielfach als ein Transformationsland untersucht, wobei die politische Transformation eines autoritären Regimes im Fokus der Betrachtung steht. Nicht minder interessant und für das Verständnis der gesellschaftlichen Entwicklung wohl unerlässlich ist das Selbstbewusstsein der Subjekte nach dem Verlust eines utopischen Traums, der maßgeblich das Leben in der Sowjetunion bestimmt hat. Wie gestaltet sich gesellschaftlicher Wandel nach dem Zusammenbruch eines utopischen Projekts? Welche Rolle spielt Enttäuschung und Verlust einer normativ aufgeladenen Zukunftsvision für das kollektive Handeln und soziale Integration? Post-soviet Russia is often considered as a country in transition with the political transformation of an authoritarian regime in the focus of examination. But not less interesting and probably essential for the understanding of the formation of the Russian society is the self-awarenesss of its subjects after the loss of an utopian dream which had a tremendous impact on life in the Soviet Union. How does social change evolve after the collapse of the utopian Soviet project? Which roles are played by disappointment and the loss of a normatively charged vision for the future of collective action and social integration?
